Archive: Outdated MMS projects
This is a collection of outdated MMS projects
The most projects are either no projects anymore, because finished. And other are still projects, but will never be finished, because already outdated.
Outdated projects are mostly MMS 1.0.8.x projects.

vdr2xmltv converts VDR's epg.data into a xml formatted TV.xml file.
It is full functional, and I use it on everyday basis. It's working so well, I didn't change it for more than two years anymore.
It's working with MMS version 1.0.8.x and the new 1.1.0, but with the new EPG plugin from Lutz it will be superfluous, since
the new EPG-plugin communicates directly with VDR via a telnet connection.

The input-lirc-helper is a perl script, which was mapping the keys from your /etc/lirc/lircd.conf automatically and created
a working lirc config file for MMS. It's still working, and can be used for MMS 1.0.8.x. You can even use it inderectly for
MMS 1.1.0. If you are in doubt about how to map the keys correctly, input-lirc-helper will create for you completely automatically
the file input-lirc. If you look into it with an editor you can transfer function blocks into the new structure in /etc/mms/input/lirc/*

The truth about the Toxic theme is, that short time after I've created it, I lost the SVG files after an hdd crash.
I've planed to simple start from scratch, and bring this theme into a more usable shape, but MMS version 1.1.0 was
already in starting blocks, and I've decided to do a new theme for MMS, the theme Darkmix, which became the new default theme.
This will certainly discontinue and no work won't be put in this. Although this theme was the origin far all
later themes, which I concidered as the dark-series.

This is of course already history, since I'm using MMS 1.1.0 for more than one year. Sure - if you didn't use
1.1.0 in the past, you've missed a lot, but also a huge pile of bugs and desperation ;-)
The advice to use MMS version 1.1.0 can only be given for perhaps more than one month (personal opinion). And since no
so called 'final' has been released yet, it's better to wait for a such.
But this here will certainly discontiue also.
